The lower extremity procedures we offer

While we generally recommend that patients attempt to relieve their symptoms with conservative techniques before resorting to surgery, we also understand that in certain cases, surgical intervention is necessary. The orthopedic surgeons on our team have extensive experience performing a number of procedures on the lower extremities, including:
- Knee replacement surgery – Depending on the severity of your injury, we can perform a total or partial knee replacement.
- ACL reconstruction surgery – The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which is located in the knee joint, can tear upon impact or when someone suddenly stops moving or quickly changes direction. Surgery generally involves replacing the torn ligament with a grafted tendon.
- Ankle ligament reconstruction surgery – Sometimes, when a person repeatedly sprains his or her ankle, the ligaments can weaken and become loose. We can perform surgery to tighten the ligaments and stabilize the ankle.
