Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Fellowship Trained in Adult Reconstruction
When I was 15, my single mother had to have her knee replacement redone and I was allowed to get my drivers license early so I could drive her to her doctor appointments. It was at that time that I knew medicine, and in particular Orthopedics, was my calling. I wanted to understand why her first knee replacement failed and what could be done to prevent it. I’ve always had a passion for building and tinkering with things and using my hands, so throughout my medical training, Orthopedics was a natural fit. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient who could barely move due to hip or knee pain, walking the morning after surgery! Like most of my patients, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors. Cycling, hiking, skiing, triathlons, and traveling keep me plenty busy outside of medicine!
