Shay Vizza, PA-C

Shay Vizza, PA-C is an NCCPA board-certified physician assistant specializing in spine conditions. She works closely with the spine-trained neurosurgeons Dr. James Lynch and Dr. Edward Perry and assists in clinical and surgical settings.

Shay grew up in Colorado and completed her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. She went on to earn her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, CO. Shay is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Before joining Swift Spine Institute, Shay practiced as a physician assistant in an urgent care setting in the Denver area. Her other medical experience includes working as a medical scribe and CNA Preceptor. She enjoys being a part of the Physician Assistant profession, interacting with patients, and providing them with exceptional patient care. She sees patients in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City.

Shay's hobbies include crafting, painting, hiking, working out, spending time with family, in addition to traveling, and cooking with her husband.
