Bruce Gallio, MHP, PA-C

Bruce is a 4th generation native Nevadan from a homesteading ranching family of Italian immigrants. He has been in orthopedics since 1992 when he first worked at the Washoe Medical Center (Renown) as a Skeletal Traction Tech. He graduated from PA School in 1998 and, upon his return, practiced orthopedics for 20 years. Working in various subspecialties, trauma, joint reconstruction, sports medicine, and hand and elbow, Bruce developed a broad base of expertise before developing and directing the area's first walk-in orthopedic clinic in 2014.

In 2018, he helped launch Swift Institute's orthopedic urgent clinic, Swift Urgent Clinic, in Reno and Sparks. Bruce has over a decade of experience working in the upper extremity subspecialty. He has many years of musculoskeletal ultrasound (US) experience and commonly uses US for diagnostic imaging and injections.
