Lisa Hammargren-Kuykendall, APRN-BC

Native to Northern Nevada, Lisa Hammargren-Kuykendall, APRN-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in general neurology with a primary care focus on headache medicine. She completed an associate's degree in nursing at Western Nevada College in Carson City, Nevada. Lisa earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Chamberlain School of Nursing in Irving, Texas, followed by her nurse practitioner degree with honors at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2011. In 2024, Lisa completed her Advanced Headache Certification Course at The Jefferson College of Nursing, making her the only Certified Headache Specialist in Northern Nevada.

Lisa remains active in several professional organizations, including the American Headache Society, the National Headache Foundation, the ALS Association Nevada Chapter, and the American Academy of Neurology.

When not practicing neurology, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. In addition, she loves hiking, paddle boarding, and enjoying the beautiful Reno / Tahoe area.
