Physical Therapist
Torrey practices at the Swift Sportsdome Physical Therapy Reno location.
Torrey joins the Swift Institute Physical Therapy Department with experience in orthopedic physical therapy. He has completed continuing education coursework in many spine and orthopedic specialties including spinal rehabilitation, manual therapy of the lumbar spine, and prescriptive exercise for mechanical low back pain.
Torrey completed his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences at the University of Nevada in Reno. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado in Denver. Torrey completed Ph.D. coursework in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Nevada in Reno.
Torrey has been a licensed physical therapist in Nevada since 2000. He is a member of the International Spine and Pain Institute.
At Swift Institute, Torrey helps patients perform customized home exercises as early as their first visit. His goal is to make the patient independent of therapy within a short period of time.
