Kinzie Hunter, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Kinzie Hunter is a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Swift Sports Dome. A recent graduate, Kinzie is passionate about building strong connections with her patients through one-on-one care and hands-on treatment. She’s especially interested in continuing her education in pelvic health and exploring differential treatments with a focus in neuro rehabilitation.

Kinzie’s path to physical therapy began as a patient herself—recovering from two ACL/meniscus surgeries and a serious car accident that impacted her lower back and hips. These experiences sparked a deep commitment to helping others regain mobility, strength, and confidence. Before earning her Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, she worked as a Physical Therapy Tech, and she also holds an AS in Athletic Training and Education and a BS in Communications.

Outside of work, Kinzie enjoys hiking with her husband, their Golden Retriever (Jynny), and their adventurous cat (Echo). She also loves cooking new recipes, biking with her husband, reading with her small book club, and snowboarding—a hobby she’s just taken up. One of her most memorable experiences was living in King Salmon, Alaska, where she caught her first fish—a 32-lb Coho Silver Salmon—using a red Sour Patch Kid as bait. She’s a big fan of Korean cuisine, especially Japchae with spicy kimchi and chili oil, and she’s currently learning Japanese, where one of her favorite greetings is “Konnichiwa, Douzo Yoroshiku,” which means, “Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
