Melissa Delamora, APRN

Melissa was born and raised in Platteville, Wisconsin, and moved to Nevada with her family when she was 19. She joined the Swift Institute team in 2023 and enjoys helping patients find symptom relief to experience a better quality of life. Melissa completed her Registered Nursing degree at Great Basin College in 2005, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Cum Laude. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2013 with her Master of Science in Nursing.

During her nursing career, Melissa has served as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room; she has served as an Advanced Practice Nurse since 2013.

Melissa earned the Nurse of the Year Award at a local health system. She was also instrumental in the certification process for the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval granted to a pain management center.
